Today I am going to show you a very useful script using Batch scripting. This tutorial will help you to create a basic idea to program a higher class windows programs.

After reading this tutorial, you’ll be able to create your own personal program to manage your daily routine.

I hope that you have been reading my previous tutorials on batch programming. With the help of those articles you’ll understand this program easily. Even if not, you must have basic programming skill on any programming language.

Refer to the following diagram to know about the program flow.

Now the coding part.

Change the values in bold with your own desire. You can run any program and any file using batch script.

Save the above file as filename.bat and run it.

Batch files saved with extension *.bat are editable by opening it from notepad. To make it more secure and unreadable or uneditable you can compile it to *.exe extension. To do so simply follow the tutorial about converting Bat to exe file.

Something new in the above code:

Set /p name=”username” will create a new field for input and if that field (enclosed inside %#%) is set to value specified then it will goto the command case specified.

For example

If %name%==username goto FirstCommand

Will go to the block of command titled with :FirstCommand

For example,

If %name%==username goto FirstCommand

:FirstCommand

Your command goes here.

Also not to execute the extra block of codes below it, either you’ll have to quit the program or direct the code to other page.

For example,

Exit

Adding quit block of code will exit the program if the program has done it’s job.

Adding :ask code block and again adding goto ask to it will prevent the error in the script by looping the same code incase if wrong value is entered.

With the recent rolling progress in technology, certain new things have come up into the limelight to help people. In a similar manner, R4i SDHC came into play and hit the market to give people several facilities united in a single card. The R4i card is a cartridge based storage device used in DS console system. It is best for Nintendo DS, as Nintendo DS does not have re-writable storage media, thus making it an ideal either way.

Just what is the R4i SDHC card? Simply put, it is the newest version of the R4 DS Card line. The R4 V2 if you will. It is the next genearation slot 1 flash card. Considering the new R4i SDHC, it is noted that the its loading time is pretty quick and is compatible with both DS lite and DS. Similarly down the line is new DSTT. This is probably less efficient than the R4i SDHC version. Also the latest kernel that updated to V1.12b, the recent R4i SDHC supports the new DS console-Nintendo DSi LL. R4i has same size as the original DSi game cartridge and potentially not updatable with DSi firmware in the coming future. R4i SDHC uses micro SD memory card and supports HC memory card too

The use of SDHC cards have enhanced the performance even of slower card R4i like capacity and format, power saving features, multi-language setting and user friendly interface. R4i SDHC is compatible to all NDS games and supports cheat-code and soft-reset setting on a per-game basis. You’ll soon realize once you start using the r4 cards that you have a whole lot more that you can now enjoy and accomplish with our Nintendo DSi console. No longer are you just limited to playing games on the go, but you’ll be able to watch movies and listen to MP3 music too. Much like you would with an iPod or iPod touch. It is proving to be better multi-media enhancer with improved picture quality and higher decoding performance. In case of shape and size R4i SDHC ensures a minimal error. Its advantages also include the functionality of drag and drop game files for direct play and supports clean ROM.

Finally, when wrapping up of main applications and features of R4i SDHC software includes its better memory capacity, quick bootable and loading time frame, supports both DS lite and DS. One flaw that lies in it is R4i SDHC does not support all types of DS and are bit slower than the previous one. But experts have overcame on these flaws also.
